I'm really diggin' all of the navy/mustard combos that I keep seeing around, but the thing is that mustard (or marigold, or whatever you want to call it!) makes me look really jaundiced, and I generally think that would be considered a negative thing. A lot of times, I'm drawn to yellow, but can't figure out how to wear it myself. This was an attempt to branch out a bit.
Also, I'm not sure what's up with my face. ????

Thanks! Your blog was so cute, by the way!
DeleteI love the print of your blue cardigan--but I'm also one of those who can't pull off mustard or yellow clothes in general. It just makes me skin look weird, I think.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I kind of think that mustard is tricky for a lot of people to pull off.
DeleteI love this color combo! Mustard doesn't look great on me either. But I do have a pair of mustard cords and I just love them! I get to wear the color but without looking like I'm sick!
ReplyDeleteI'm always so hesitant to buy anything out-of-the-box when it comes to pants...I think I'm afraid I won't wear them enough before they're out of style. That might be a good way to get in on this trend, though.
DeleteI absolutely love mustard and blue!! its one my fave combo!! you look awesome!
ReplyDeleteI saw your teal shirt post pop up on Lucky today, and I thought, "Hey!!! I've seen her around!!!" :) Congrats on being published!
