What I Wore (Or the Fourth is Coming!)

I went back to the Midwest last week, and my sisters and mother and I all decided to do this little DIY American flag tank project together.

And here is how mine turned out!

I decided to make the stripes varying widths and placed the stars in a random pattern because I honestly didn't want to be bothered with measuring it out perfectly. :) I only had 3 days to visit, and time was pretty precious!

What I Wore (Or it Was a Gender Reveal Party)

Lace tank: $3 (Thrifted, Mudd)
Jeans: Already had (Steve & Barry)
Sandals: Gift (F21)
Belt: Already had (Express)
Layered cross necklace: Already had (F21)

This outfit is pretty much as simple as it gets. I don't know if it photographs well, but I felt cute wearing it.

Oh, and I told you I was working on my tan! Apparently, I meant I was working on my burn.

What I Wore (Or the Look For Less)

I saw this photo of Olivia Munn, and I thought I'd be able to recreate this look (or at least an inspired look) out of my own closet.
Here are the elements:

1. Gauzy shift-style dress
2. Metallic necklace
3. Nude sandals

And here's how I did it:

Dress: Already had (F21)
Sandals: $4 (Kohl's)
Necklace: $3.90 (The Body Central)

I bought this dress last winter at F21 during a BOGO free sale; I purchased the dress and a crocheted sweater for $11, making the cost for each item $5.50. Not too shabby!!
Once again, I shop The Body Central for accessories. At less than $4 per piece, it's a complete steal, and they frequently have knock-offs of higher-end stores.
