Gorgeous, isn't it????
Oddly enough, I had all of these colors in my closet, but wouldn't have thought to put them together in this way.
I have to apologize for the quality of the picture...my 5-year-old camera girl was ready to get back inside! My skirt is oddly creased in the shot for some reason, and I didn't see that until it was too late. Ah, well...
Top: Old Navy ($5)
Skirt: Ross ($5)
Shoes: Kohl's ($3.75...I love that Kohl's lets me stack coupons!!!!)

Thanks, girl!
DeleteLove your interpretation! I have this same outfit pinned and have used the colors for inspiration several times in the summer, I am looking forward to trying it out with my fall clothes. It is such a fun color combination. ;)
ReplyDeleteWe're fortunate to still be in the 70's this week, so I am going to try to wear summer clothes as long as I can, haha!!! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteGreat job using the colors to put your own look together! I also love your cost for the total outfit!

ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I don't find it all that easy to style (sometimes I think that putting black with colors looks kind of harsh), so I was glad to find a new way to wear it. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteHow pretty! These colors look great together! Stopping by from WIWW!

Thank you!
DeleteI recently had the same experience where I took a Pinterest look and made it from items I already had in my closet. Your look is great, I love all the bold colors.

Thank you!! Did you post your look? I'll have to come over and see. :)
DeleteI like that you put the look together with a striped skirt. More fun that way!

This is so cute! I have a bright blue skirt and I would never have thought to pair it with pink - don't you just love Pinterest for that very reason?!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog!
Thanks! Yes, I do love Pinterest! (What did I do with my time before I discovered Pinterest?? Haha!!) Thanks for popping over!
DeleteI love that you have pieces from a bunch of different places. Pink Peonies tends to wear like 95% J. Crew so I'm glad that you came up with a similar look at a different price point :)
